These flooring choices are grouped according to a style category that some or all of the grades within each species might best complement. These definitions are totally subjective, however, so please don't feel boxed in by them. Your other design elements such as furnishings and wall or window treatments may better define your overall style.
- Formal are species that are available in Select or Quarter Sawn grades that might complement a more elegant or contemporary setting.
- Country are species that are available in grades that might be suitable for a casual or traditional design.
- Rustic are species that are available in grades that might go with informal or colonial surroundings.
- Custom Distressed Surfaces are species that are available with a custom applied surface texture. Not all grades within each species are available with these treatments, but depending on grade and texture chosen, virtually any design may be greatly enhanced.
