Virtually timbered out to build the factories and warehouses of industrial America, the dense Southeastern forests of Longleaf Yellow Pine were not able to regenerate. By the 1930's, this majestic wood - once providing everything from masts for the royal navy to flooring for countless colonist’s homes - was no longer commercially available. Now, through careful recognition, retrieval and re-milling efforts, this beautiful wood is available once again. Painstakingly re-sawn from antique timbers reclaimed from dismantled buildings, then precisely kiln-dried and milled into flooring and millwork, reclaimed Southern Longleaf Heart Pine brings the distinctive character and warm patina of it's noble history into your home.

Select Grade:
Available unfinished, this grade has 100% dense grained heartwood, with few to no nail holes and very infrequent small knots no larger than 1" in diameter.  This grade is suitable for the most formal applications and is the best option when duplicating a colonial Williamsburg floor.

Country Grade:
Available unfinished, Country Grade contains 90-100% dense grained heartwood, with very infrequent nail holes, tight knots no larger than 1 1/2" in diameter, and occasional hairline checks. Country Grade is the most popular grade of Heart Pine and has all the characteristics that make Heart Pine such a classic.

Rustic Grade:

Available unfinished, this grade is most suited for a casual and rustic look, and is more readily available in wide widths than our select grade. With varying grain patterns, 70-100% heart content, and a scattering of knots, nail holes, and hairline checks, this handsome, durable floor has country character.
