Antique Heart Pine Flooring:
Antique Reclaimed Flooring

Reclaimed longleaf heart pine flooring presents one of the most traditional looks of all our antique pine flooring choices . Selected by discriminating homeowners, antique heart pine offers strength and durability, while its various grades can offer anywhere from a formal Williamsburg look to the rustic feel of distressed flooring.

Virtually timbered out to build the factories and warehouses of industrial America, the dense Southeastern forests of Longleaf Yellow Pine were not able to regenerate. By the 1930's, this majestic wood - once providing everything from masts for the royal navy to flooring for countless colonists' homes - was no longer commercially available. Now, through careful recognition, retrieval and re-milling efforts, this beautiful wood is available once again. Painstakingly re-sawn from antique timbers reclaimed from dismantled buildings, then precisely kiln-dried and milled into flooring and millwork, reclaimed Southern Longleaf Heart Pine brings the distinctive character and warm patina of its noble history into your home.

CountryPlank.com offers antique pine flooring with custom surface treatments including a variety of distressed looks or hand scraping on the edges and ends.
